Doorly Park Obstacle Course

Last Sunday I went on a trip to the park with my parents. In Doorly Park there is an obstacle course which is really cool. I had a few goes on it, and then i decided it would be good to time myself.

I went to the start and my Dad used the stop watch on his phone to time me. My first run was 01:35.50 (mm:ss.ss) My second run was 01:30.00 a marked improvement.

I'm going to go back in a few days and try to beat my time. If you want to time yourself on the obstacle course you can post your result in the comments section. Try to beat your own time and don't worry about the times othere people get, just try the best that you can do.

I recommend going to Doorly Park and try out all the fun equipment they have there. . Remember it's good to be active!

Is "alot" a word?

No, alot isn't a word. If you are talking about a large amount of something, you want to say "a lot." There is also a similar word, allot, which is used when distributing things.

If the pirates capture a lot of treasure, the captain will allot one share to each of the crew.

Joke: Why are pirates called pirates?

Because they just AARrrrRRGH!

Enjoying the Fruits of Nature

On  Father's Day I went for a walk in Carin's wood with my dad. It was so much fun. We were out in the middle of somewhere on a great adventure.

We climbed up on a Cairn, it was covered in loads of weeds, grass and nettles.

When we finally reached the top we found a strange rock. It was unusual. Have you any idea why it was there?

Wild Rabbit in the Beautiful Bushwells

One day when I was playing in my bedroom I happened to look out the window, and to my amazement I  saw a wild rabbit in the Bushwells (AKA bushes). It was sooooo cutsie and when you watch all of this you will know what I mean. I think the bunny is enjoying eating the grass. What do you think?
